Inspired by the Northwest Coast, this beautiful formline design was created by Tlingit Master Artist Israel Shotridge.
This original design depicts the prominent clan figures of the Raven & Eagle, the two opposites, the main moieties, showing their inner strength and balance in the face of adversity.
The heart represents the “love of family” and respect of the elders and teachings of the ancestors.
Many generations of Northwest Coast Native people have endured disease since time immemorial yet still preserving their lands, culture, and way of life.
This art print series is designed for the more serious Native art collector, printed on a designated high-quality Epson Art Printer, with archival inks, on museum quality paper to last a lifetime. Colors are very rich and will withstand time.
A print certificate with Artist Photo, Bio, Design Description along with its number in the edition is included on the back of this framed piece.
