Shotridge Holiday Tree Ornaments are a special and unique holiday gift, great for the holiday tree!
Inspired by the Northwest Coast, this beautiful formline design was created by Tlingit Master Artist Israel Shotridge.
A most prestigious animal crest, and one of the most prevalent figures in totemic art as well as myths. It is a symbol of power and strength among the Native people of the Northwest Coast. It is thought in many tribes in the Pacific Northwest that the bear's soul was the closest to a human's and symbolized the relationship between humans and animals.
The Shotridge Collection Holiday Ornaments are created in cut-out shapes. They make great holiday decorations, gifts, and personal holiday treasures. They are designed to depict many of the Native images that are identifiable in the Pacific Northwest Coast.
Ornaments are approximately 2.5" and are hung on a metallic red stretchy hanger. Each ornament has a mirrored back to them.
